Tracking your weight
Go to the Progress tab and enter your current weight. You can also update it via Profile → "Current weight" field.
Changing your goal
Open Profile → Goal and select your new goal (lose, gain, or maintain weight). Update your target weight and preferred weekly rate. The app recalculates your daily calories and macros automatically based on the new parameters.
Understanding calorie and macro targets
Your targets are calculated from your profile information: current weight, height, age, activity level, and goal. If your goal is weight loss, the calorie deficit is already built into the number shown — you do not need to subtract anything manually.
To adjust manually: Profile → Calories and Macronutrients. For personalized nutrition advice, use the Coach tab.

Burned calories and activity
The Home screen shows consumed calories vs burned calories. Detailed breakdowns are available in the Nutrition section.
If the "Add burned calories" feature is enabled, your daily calorie limit increases automatically on active days. You can toggle this in Profile.
Body Scan
Body Scan is available in the Progress tab. It is a separate in-app purchase — it is not included in the Pro subscription. The purchase is one-time and grants permanent access.
Privacy: Photos are NOT stored by Welmi. They are sent to the server for analysis but are not saved.
Results appear in the Progress tab under the Body Scan banner.
Tips for accurate scans: - Use good, even lighting - Ensure your full body is visible in the frame - Wear form-fitting clothing or minimal clothing - Scan in the same conditions each time for consistency
Body Scan score
The score ranges from 0 to 100 and is based on your age, sex, and body composition. A higher score indicates a better result relative to your demographic group.
Track the score over time rather than fixating on a single number. Results can vary 30–50 points between sessions due to differences in lighting, posture, angle, and clothing. Always scan under the same conditions for reliable comparisons.
AI Health Report
The AI Health Report is bundled with Body Scan as part of the Welmi AI Bundle — a one-time purchase with lifetime access. The AI Bundle does not include meal scanning or the food diary (those require Pro).
Weekly and monthly reports
Weekly and monthly summary reports are not yet available. Daily counters for calories, macros, and water reset each day. This feature has been requested and is under consideration.
