AI Coach — your personal nutrition and fitness assistant

Written by Daniil Zinenko

Your Coach

The Coach opens from the Nutrition and Fitness tabs in the app — these are the two main ways to start a chat. From the Nutrition tab the Coach focuses on food, calories, and eating habits; from the Fitness tab it focuses on workouts and training. It is the same assistant in both places.

You pick your coach during the initial setup. After that, the app currently has no option to change your coach.

Questions about your own diet, health, and fitness

Have a specific question about your nutrition, health, or physical activity? Ask the Coach — that is exactly what it is for. For example:

  • "What should I eat today?", "How much protein do I need to build muscle?", "Should I eat more if I'm still hungry?"

  • "Which workout suits me?", "Can I train with a knee injury?", "How do I exercise around a physical limitation?"

Open the Coach from the Nutrition tab for diet, calorie, and meal questions, and from the Fitness tab for workout and training questions. Our support team cannot give personalized nutrition or fitness advice — the Coach is the right place for it.

One limit: the Coach is not a doctor. It does not give medical advice or diagnoses. For anything involving a medical condition, medication, pregnancy, an injury, or other health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.

What the Coach can do

Nutrition Calories, macros, and eating-habit guidance. The Coach supports several meal plan types — High Protein, Balanced, Low Carb, and Keto — and offers tips tailored to your plan. It also comments on logged meals automatically.

Fitness Workout advice, step count goals, and recovery tips.

Water tracking Daily water goal and hydration tips. Important: the water tracker counts only plain water (not coffee, tea, juice, or soup).

Intermittent fasting Eating window questions, fasting progress updates, and general fasting guidance.

Food recognition by photo

Send a photo in the chat and the Coach will identify the dishes, estimate portions, and calculate calories and macros. It can also read barcodes.

Logging water via chat

Type something like "log a glass of water" and it will be added to your water tracker automatically.

Changing goals via chat

Ask the Coach to update your daily targets for calories, protein, fat, carbs, water, or steps. Example: "set my daily calorie goal to 1800".

Limitations

  • The Coach does not provide medical advice or diagnoses.

  • It cannot create a meal plan (that is a separate section of the app).

  • The water tracker counts plain water only.

  • There is a daily message limit that resets after 24 hours.

FAQ

Can I choose or switch my coach? You choose your coach during the initial setup. Changing it afterward is not available in the app at this time.

Can the Coach create a meal plan for me? No. Meal plans are managed in a separate section of the app.

Does photo quality matter for food recognition? The Coach does its best with any photo, but results are more accurate with good lighting and a top-down angle.

What happens when I hit the daily message limit? The limit resets 24 hours after it is reached. All other app features continue to work normally.

Does the Coach remember our conversation? It knows your profile, the current conversation, and your recent logged data.

Can the Coach give medical advice? No. For medical concerns, please consult a doctor.

Where do I ask about my own diet or workout? Open the Coach from the Nutrition tab for diet and meal questions, or from the Fitness tab for workout and training questions. Support cannot give personalized nutrition or fitness advice — the Coach can.
